About the Village

Hello!  Thank you for your interest in Teal Village.  Here you will find information about what we do and how we do it, so you can decide if this community is the right place for you.

Teal Village is a global community and a virtual home for individuals who have shared purpose and passion in elevating social and business consciousness through self-transformation.  The village is designed as an incubator for self-leaders.  To understand what makes us unique, please read Our Approach.

While self-development is the determining factor of life’s happiness and struggle as well as business success, few people are proactively engaged in it for several reasons:

1. Don’t know where to start.

2. See self-development as a pain killer.  For example, we hire coaches only when we are in difficult time or in pain.  As soon as the symptom is reduced, we are back to operating on autopilot.

3. Don’t have sufficient fund to hire coaches over long-time or participate in expensive programs that cost tens or hundreds thousands of euros or dollars.

4. Even if we paid for external help and have experienced changes, but once returning to normal life, we either don’t sustain the change or stop growing.

5. Lack community support over the long-term or an environment to practice what we have learned.

Teal Village exists to offer an alternative and to address the above problems. Our intention is to make self-development part of our lifestyle. Similar to a healthy lifestyle that keep us healthy at all time.  Sustainable self-development requires the following 3 conditions: persistent practice, community support and spiritual guidance.  This is how Teal Village is designed.  If the individual is committed to practice, with community support and accessible guidance, the process becomes enjoyable and highly effective.

All activities in the village are designed to increase self-awareness and to address challenges we face in life and in business.  It is through active participation and practice, we internalize our learning, raise our consciousness and become what we are meant to be.  This doesn’t prevent us from participating in programs offered by enlightening teachers or hiring great coaches.  What we encourage members to do is to reverse the order of priority.  Instead of relying on external teachers and coaches to lead our self-development process, we ask you to take charge of the process, only hire external help on demand.

As a self-leader incubator, everything done inside of the village is centered on people.  Every admitted member is carefully selected.  Our first priority is to ensure an environment of safety, belonging and acceptance.  This way, the village becomes a sanctuary and a healing space for its members, as well as a training facility for developing competence and cultivating creativity.

In Teal Village, we aspire to do what we love and do it with joy.  We strongly believe that when our inner world is in peace and harmony, so is our outer world.  The only way to bring sustainable changes to the world outside is to change ourselves inside.  This is why that engaging in life long self-discovery and self-development is the foundation of what we do in the village.

Activities in the village are self-paced and self-managed, many are designed for members to learn from each other, give and receive support, create deep connections and have fun in the process.  Equally important, through these activities, we get to know, like and trust each other – essential parts of village life.  At the same time, it increases chances of success should members choose to co-create businesses and projects together.

We understand that it takes courage and strong commitment to look deeply into yourself, peel off layers of limiting-beliefs, recognize your brilliance and show up as the bright light you are.  You will have fellow members to support you on this journey.
