Course Introcuction
Do you ever have a strong desire to achieve a goal, but don’t follow up with necessary actions? Do you sometimes label yourself as lazy because you frequently procrastinate? What if your inaction is not a matter of character flaw but lack of physical energy? A fulfilled life is the result of effective management of two types of health – physical health and psychological health. Lack of optimal physical health directly affects psychological health. Good health is the foundation of a good life.
This course is based on the philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). TCM is an energy medicine system based on a holistic understanding of the human body. It has been practiced and tested for thousands of years with phenomenal effectiveness for maintaining good health. While treatment methods, such as acupuncture and herbs are popular for curing diseases, what’s most outstanding about TCM is its philosophy and emphasis on preventing diseases through cultivating a healthy lifestyle. Counter-intuitively, TCM’s teaching on how to cultivate a healthy lifestyle is frequently opposite to the mainstream approaches in the west.
In this Body Wisdom course, you will gain an overview on energy medicine and human’s incredible potential to live long and to stay healthy, which is attainable by most people. You also get practical advice on how to maintain health and prevent diseases. There will be opportunities for questions and answers during and after the lectures. If applied, this course will set you on a path of vitality and good health.
